Col. Drury's record of service is set out in
the document above 7. He has obtained a copy
of the Digest of Pension Laws and Regs. and
cannot understand why certain of the provisions
of the Imperial Superannuation Acts (e.g., that
relating to service in an unhealthy climate)
cannot be applied to his case.
Briefly, the position is that he is entitled
to the 5 years climatec addition from Hong Kong,
but as his Hong Kong hypothetical pension is
limited to 40 ths, and as his actual service is
60
in excess of 40 years, he does not get any
addition by way of climate bonus.
